Accomodations
Our small farmhouse has two apartments and three rooms, all different in color, furnishings and layout. The house already existed as a farm before the opening of the Agriturismo, so every room has its own unique character. They all are equipped with the same comfort and attention to the smallest details through the reuse of old and original Tuscan furnishing materials.
The accommodations are all equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi coverage, linen.

Our Cuisine
Ours is a typical Tuscan home cooking based on our old family recipes. We care very much to use local products, seasonal vegetables and as far as possible organic ingredients.
As members of the Slow Food movement we believe in the importance of the short supply chain to have a Good, Clean and Just food in respect of the season. Samuele goes down to the village every day to go shopping in the local groceries or in local farms to always have fresh, seasonal and waste-free products.
We are convinced that the quality of food also depends on the human relationships behind it. The menu is fixed and changes every day. Our kitchen is accommodating to all needs and also offers vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free alternatives. Let us know about your intollerances or food restriction in advance.
Key word is
SUSTAINABILITY
Taking care of environmental sustainability is something complex that involves many aspects from the technological choices to the daily habits.
To explain it we decided to divide the various items into the 4 categories in which traditionally nature is divided: FIRE, WATER, AIR and EARTH.
FIRE (ELECTRICITY AND HEAT)
We produce electricity with photovoltaic panels that abundantly cover the consumption of our farm. All the appliances are high efficiency and we opted for low consumption light bulbs. We heat the rooms of the farmhouse and the common room with a wood burning fireplace, while the apartments have a pellet stove.
EARTH (SOCIAL AND TERRITORY)
Respect for the territory and the environment also relies on the relationship with people. For this reason we prefer to supply our home directly from the shopkeepers and local farms of the village, favoring local raw materials and building fundamental human relationships based on friendship and trust. We recycle our waste by dividing it and we invite you to do the same during your stay.
WATER
Water is the most important resource on the planet and as such it should not be wasted. We collect rainwater that we use for irrigation in dry periods and we restored a century old lavatory as a water tank. Hot water for our guests in summer is heated with solar panels, while in winter we use a high efficency boiler and a wood burning fireplace. Wastewaters are treated in a septic tank and we only use environmentally friendly and biodegradable products for cleaning.
AIR (AIR CONDITIONING)
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning through a class A inverter, whose energy consumption is broadly covered by the photovoltaic plant. In winter the heat production is guaranteed by two wood-burning fireplaces (we use local and self made firewood), and pellet stoves as well as the possibility of the reverse cycle of the air conditioners.
